Ashley Perry is an Evaluation Associate at CERE.
Ashley supports clients in the K-12 Education, Higher Education, and Health portfolios to maximize their impact in communities across Mississippi. She is passionate about evaluation being a vehicle for positive change by helping socially conscious programs identify and measure effectiveness and improve outcomes.
Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Bonaventure University in 2005, and has a Master’s (2007) and Ph.D. (2014) in Sociology from Louisiana State University. Before joining CERE in 2023, she was a member of the Criminology faculty at Mississippi State University for 10 years, teaching a range of courses in subjects like crime and victimization, substance use, abuse, and the law, and juvenile delinquency. She also specialized in student success and career readiness, serving as a faculty moderator of the Sociological Student Association (SSA) for 10 years, student advisor, and undergraduate coordinator.
She is grateful for the opportunity to apply her research background and mixed methodological knowledge to her current role at CERE, and to bring her commitment to social impact to CERE’s clients and learning partners.
