Rachel Scott is an Evaluation Associate at CERE. Scott’s focus at CERE is working with education clients to help them determine if their work is having a positive impact. Her previous roles in education have been at all levels of K-12 schools including Director of Magnet Programs for a small-urban school district in the South, instructional facilitator/magnet coordinator for a nationally recognized design-themed magnet school, district instructional technology specialist, and AP science teacher. She earned her Bachelor of General Studies (2010) and Master of Science in instructional technology (2014) from Texas A&M University –Texarkana and her Education Specialist in educational leadership (2017) from Arkansas State University. Scott received her Doctor of Education in curriculum and instruction – educational technology (2020) at the University of Florida, with a research focus on technology integration in magnet schools. She has presented locally and nationally on building capacity for technology integration in schools, theme-based learning and course design, and educational change models to support strategic planning.
