Tracking the implementation of a multi-institution research endeavor
Under this NSF EPSCOR Track II grant, Principal Investigators were charged with developing a multi-institutional research collaborative designed to target critical challenges in the the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. Namely: the production of hydrogen, the reduction of carbon dioxide to useable fuel, and the reduction of nitrogen to synthetic fertilizer.
In pursuit of that goal, investigators have led an array of activities designed to build junior faculty capacity, conduct critical research projects, and engage with the broader community to build teachers’ skills in supporting science education.
CERE has partnered with the project’s Principal Investigators since 2015, tracking research outputs, research impacts, and exploring outcomes associated with faculty and educator professional development efforts.
